Recently it seems like we have been overrun with seating so this weekend I kept an eye out for storage and casegoods. My efforts were rewarded with quite a few fantastic pieces.
When I found this credenza the doors were covered with sagging burlap. I recovered them in brand new burlap and now it looks much better.
Danish teak secretary with original key! // SOLD
Queen teak headboard with attached nightstands. This is only the second one I have ever found. They can be very difficult to find because queen beds were not as popular in the 1950s & 60s.

Wow- that head board is pretty spectacular. You seem to always have such luck with the furniture. Is it all estate sales or do you have better luck with Auctions?
ReplyDeleteThanks, it's primarily from estate sales. I don't go to many auctions.
DeleteYou taught me new word usages today - storage and casegoods. Very descriptive. Thanks for hosting Mid Century Mondays.
