Project Time!

Lately we have been finding some great project pieces!  It has been a few months since we have been able to do much upholstery.  We are finally starting to settle into a routine since the birth of our second daughter.  Here are 4 projects that we currently have on hand.

This sofa reminds me quite a bit of the one pictured below.  One major difference is that this sofa has an oak frame and the sofa below has a walnut frame.  The oak sofa will have a medium brown finish once restored.  I think that we may upholster it in the same Pendleton wool pattern as it was very popular on the other sofa.

This Dux style lounge chair is a model that we have had several times over the years.  They tend to sell quickly for us.  It has already raised some interest on Instagram

This Danish teak frame sofa is in severe need of upholstery.  Finding a chair in this condition makes for a great "before & after" shot.  I think we will most likey make a matching ottoman for it as well.

Lastly, we were excited to find this Ib Kofod Larsen hoop chair.  It is the first one that we have ever had!

In the time since our last post we have refinished and sold several pieces.  Here they are:

Teak drop leaf dining table.

Lane Acclaim guitar pick side table.

Arthur Umanoff side table trio.  I assembled this set over a period of 7 years and it sold in just a few hours!

This Danish teak secretary hutch was quite a lot of work to refinish but it sold very quickly as well.

Lastly, we also sol this Danish teak two tier coffee table

Here are a few of the pieces that we found since our last post that are still currently for sale.

Franko Albini style rattan loveseat with outdoor fabric cushions.

Lowboy "Legacy" dresser by Merton L. Gershun for American of Martinsville.

Drexel "Woodbriar" lighted hutch and matching console table.

Lane Acclaim surfboard coffee table.
