Reupholstered // Gunlocke Armchairs

Last week we found an amazing set of 6 Gunlocke armchairs.  The upholstery on the chair looked pretty good when we bought them but the foam was completely dehydrated and had to be replaced.  As long as we had to remove the upholstery to replace the foam we figured we might as well replace the upholstery with something a little more modern.

The Gunlocke Chair Co. made mid century office chairs in an iconic sturdy American style.  This is how the chairs looked when we found them.

 A few days later they were done!  The set is now available at Hawthorne Vintage and Etsy for $900.
