Gondolas Galore

Good things come in threes! This saying really holds true for much of our vintage finds. Chris picked up this gondola sofa a couple weeks ago. It was in poor shape with the original yellow scratchy upholstery. Chris stripped all it's guts, revealing that it was made out of high-quality maple wood. 

As with the other gondolas, I chose a dark gray fabric that has nice texture. It sets off the wood nicely and plays well with most people's home design. 

My favorite feature of this sofa are the 'v' shaped legs.

At first we thought this sofa was designed by Adrian Pearsall, but we could not find one attributed to him that has this wood piece on top. It's definitely made in his similar style.
